Hello,
my name is Colleen Walters and I own the Kurranulla Cattery
in Cronulla, Sydney, Australia. Cronulla is a beach suburb
surrounded by many world-renowned surfing beaches. Our home
is 20 minutes from Sydney Airport and the city of Sydney -
but far enough away to feel like we are living in a holiday
area. Within minutes we are in the Royal National Park - one
of Australia's most beautiful areas.
Since
1985
I have bred Devon Rex cats.
During
this time I have been both the Secretary of the Rex Cat Club
of New South Wales (editing the magazine Rextalk) and the Rex
Cat Fanciers (editing Rexchat). I applied and was accepted to
develop the Tiffanie breed of Cat (Longhair Burmilla). I am
the Secretary of the Silvertails Cat Club.
I welcome enquiries from prospective Tiffanie and Devon
Rex breeders. I
believe that owning a cat should be beneficial to one’s
health and happiness. My
mission is to continually strive to produce the perfect pet
… and to help others in their quest to become excellent cat
breeders.
My
family consists of my three children Glen, Adam and Fiona
and a very much loved family of pet and breeding cats. Glen
owns his own building consultancy business, Adam lives and
works as a design engineer in Queensland with his wife and two
children. Fiona owns her own language school and loves nothing
better than a night of salsa dancing. She speaks five
languages – Japanese, German, Spanish, Portuguese and of
course English.
Prior to setting up her own language school, Fiona worked as an
interpreter on the Japanese Peace Boat and travelled to 18
countries teaching English and Spanish and visiting NGO’s -
promoting peace around the world. The memories and the friends
she made during this time will never forgotten.
I am blessed to have my
family, my friends and my beautiful cats.
